Cherokee County strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Douglas Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cherokee County was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12.

Nevaeh Gaidurgis paced Cherokee County's offense, picking up seven kills. Gaidurgis got some help from Macy Lea and her 18 assists. Ava Haygood controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cherokee County's win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cherokee County will head out to take on Westbrook Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglas, they will venture away from home to face off against Kate Duncan Smith DAR at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
