Ponderosa and Bella Vista are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bruins will venture away from home to take on the Broncos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Ponderosa is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Ponderosa came up short against Pleasant Grove on Thursday, falling 12-2. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ponderosa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aleyah Cruz, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Bella Vista didn't have quite enough to beat McClatchy on Saturday and fell 4-2.

Laila Kirwan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Ponderosa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Bella Vista, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Ponderosa took their victory against Bella Vista when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 10-2 score. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
