Soccer Recap: Dos Pueblos Takes a Loss

If Dos Pueblos was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Buena last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dos Pueblos Chargers fell just short of the Rio Mesa Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Chargers came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Spartans are ranked 385th).

Andrew Gomez and Miguel Greenberg scored both of Dos Pueblos' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.
