Basketball Recap: Kalina Santor Key Part of a Team Effort in Lions Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seton Catholic, North Valley Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 26-21 W over the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions.

North Valley Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kalina Santor, who posted 12 points and six steals. That's the most points Santor has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Triniti Terracciano, who put up nine points and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why St. John Paul II Catholic lost, don't look at Janey Lopez. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points.

North Valley Christian Academy's record is now 5-8. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

North Valley Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 41-29 win against Camp Verde on the 9th. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 24-15 victory against Trivium Prep on the 10th.
