Softball Recap: Edinburgh Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Edinburgh's win against Eminence wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lancers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Eels on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lancers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Kenna Streeval made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Streeval was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last nine matches.

In other batting news, Adalynn Ramey was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted over her last nine contests.

Edinburgh's record is now 12-8. As for Eminence, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Edinburgh didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-4 win against Jac-Cen-Del on the 9th. Eminence has also already played their next matchup (against Monrovia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
