Soccer Game Preview: Vista Ridge vs. Fountain-Fort Carson

The Vista Ridge Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Vista Ridge's offense. They fell just short of Pueblo West by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Vista Ridge have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Fountain-Fort Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to Pine Creek. While losing is never fun, Fountain-Fort Carson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Pine Creek are ranked ninth).

Fountain-Fort Carson's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Vista Ridge, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 7-5.
