Football Recap: Chickasha Comes Up Short

Chickasha extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They lost 42-21 to the Ardmore Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Chicks of the 35-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Ardmore, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Leading Ardmore to victory were K'DRIEN MILLER and MATTHEW FELDER. MILLER rushed for 42 yards and one TD, while FELDER rushed for 90 yards and one touchdown.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chickasha is set to face off against their familiar foe Harrah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ardmore will challenge rival Madill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
