After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, Social Circle finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lamar County Trojans by a score of 1-0. Social Circle's loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Social Circle's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 12-2. As for Lamar County, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Social Circle will square off against Utopian Academy for the Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
