Soccer Game Preview: Dutch Fork vs. Spring Valley

Dutch Fork has won three straight games at home, while Spring Valley has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Silver Foxes will welcome the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Dutch Fork's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Swansea 7-0. The game marked Dutch Fork's most dominant victory of the season.

Their offense was hitting Swansea from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Wyatt Moore led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Spring Valley made easy work of West Florence on Wednesday and carried off a 4-0 win.

Spring Valley is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those ten matchups. As for Dutch Fork, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
