 It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Wekiva ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Monday. They walked away with  an   18-13  win over the Cypress Creek Bears. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Wekiva considering their two-run performance the  matchup before.
  Yamilia Delgado was a standout: she went 4-for-6 with five  RBI, three  runs,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Camilla Delgado, who  went 3-for-5 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs.
 On Cypress Creek's side,  Jaylah Bolden stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-5 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alyssa Jovine, who  went 2-for-4 with four  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 Wekiva is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record  this season. As for Cypress Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
 Wekiva will be staying on the road  on Wednesday to face off against Dr. Phillips at 6:00  p.m. Dr. Phillips will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Wekiva surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cypress Creek, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Tohopekaliga at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Cypress Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.1  runs per game  this season.
