Basketball Recap: Hackensack Takes a Loss

Hackensack was the 71-60 winner over Bayonne when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets fell 65-57 to the Bees on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Bees are ranked 43rd).

Hackensack's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Bayonne, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hackensack will face off against Paramus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bayonne, they will take on Hudson Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
