Basketball Game Preview: Bloom Blazing Trojan vs. Andrew Thunderbolts

The Bloom Blazing Trojan will challenge the Andrew Thunderbolts at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Bloom will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Bloom didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Southland College Prep, but they still walked away with a 37-31 victory. Given the Blazing Trojan's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Southland College Prep are ranked 370th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Andrew didn't have too much trouble with Stagg on Tuesday as they won 56-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbolts.

Bloom's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-8. As for Andrew, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.
