Basketball Recap: Uintah Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Uintah had won three straight home games and Angel Rios did his part to make it four on Wednesday. The Uintah Utes simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Providence Hall Patriots 74-44 thanks in part to Rios, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 16 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Uintah's record is now 11-3. As for Providence Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Uintah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-42 loss against Layton Christian Academy on the 10th. As for Providence Hall, they will square off against Grand County at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th. Grand County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
