Baseball Recap: Mohonasen's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Mohonasen had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Albany Academy for Boys on Monday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Cadets with a sharp 12-2 victory. The game was the first time the Warriors have beaten the Cadets on their field since May 16, 2019.

Nic Quinlivan made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Quinlivan was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI.

In other batting news, AJ Crux was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those stolen bases marked the first that he has snagged this season. Daniel Corsoro was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Mohonasen's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for Albany Academy for Boys, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
