Softball Recap: Monmouth Academy Makes It Four in a Row at Home

On Tuesday Monmouth Academy's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Mountain Valley Falcons. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Monmouth Academy pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Mountain Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.
