Baseball Recap: Haysville Campus Takes a Loss

Haysville Campus was the 5-3 winner over Valley Center when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Colts fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Haysville Campus has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-6 record this season. As for Valley Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Haysville Campus will take on Rose Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.68 runs per game on average), something the Colts will no doubt try to take advantage of. Valley Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
