The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. John Lutheran has scored all season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, St. John Lutheran struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Saint Francis Catholic racked up 16 assists.
Saint Francis Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jonah Powers, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was William Collett, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
St. John Lutheran bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Saint Francis Catholic, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
St. John Lutheran will head out on the road to face off against Redeemer Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Francis Catholic will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lecanto at 12:00 p.m. on December 29th.
