Zeke Isaak Cortez turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Kaiser is 10-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-8 otherwise.

Cortez's strong effort led Kaiser over Bloomington and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
