Softball Game Preview: Pottsville Crimson Tide vs. Mahanoy Area Golden Bears

The Pottsville Crimson Tide will venture away from home to take on the Mahanoy Area Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pottsville is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Monday, Pottsville came up short against Tri-Valley and fell 8-4.

Jes Siminitus and Aubrey Scanlan stepped up to the plate in a big way. Siminitus scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Scanlan went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That double was Scanlan's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Mahanoy Area's offense. They came up short against Pine Grove on Monday, falling 10-0. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pottsville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mahanoy Area, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.
