Volleyball Recap: Cabrillo Comes Up Short

Cabrillo was the 3-1 winner over Morro Bay when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Conquistadores fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Kaiya Brown paced Cabrillo's offense, picking up three kills. Brown got some help from Taylor Savella and her four assists.

Cabrillo's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Morro Bay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Cabrillo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy on the 26th. As for Morro Bay, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lompoc on the 26th.
