The Baltic Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 49-31 bruising from Beresford. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Baltic in their matchups with Beresford: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Baltic saw an underclassman step up: Harper Kortemeyer scored 11 points.
Baltic's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Beresford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Baltic's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chester at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Chester is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Beresford, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sioux Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Sioux Valley is ranked 40th, while Beresford is ranked 51st).
