Basketball Recap: Breckenridge Comes Up Short

If Breckenridge was riding high fresh off their 53-31 takedown of Millsap last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Breckenridge Buckaroos took a 50-31 bruising from the Peaster Greyhounds on Saturday. The Buckaroos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Breckenridge now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Peaster, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Breckenridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-44 loss against Comanche on the 14th. As for Peaster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 76-17 win against Eastland on the 14th.
