Baseball Recap: Orange Cove Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Orange Cove was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 10-2 to the Corcoran Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered against the Panthers since February 10, 2020.

Orange Cove saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexander Lizaola, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Josiah Guerra was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Orange Cove's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Corcoran, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Orange Cove didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Farmersville on the 16th. As for Corcoran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Coalinga on the 16th.
