Oxford's pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only eight hits and one walk, both of which led the league.
New Hope struck out 42 times as a team over the past week, but
Saltillo is still the biggest offender of strikeouts on the season, with 186 in all.
Four batters hit over .400 this week. Leading the pack was William Elliott, who hit 1.000 by going 3-for-3.
New Hope's Stafford led the league in strikeouts this week with 21. He's fourth in the league with 56 total strikeouts.
Stafford struck out eight in the Trojans' 5-0 win over
Hernando on May 19. He gave up five hits and zero runs over seven innings of work.
