Fairfield waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 27-25, 25-17.

Fairfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Bales, who had ten digs and nine aces. That's the most aces Bales has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Stahlhut, who had three digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Fairfield was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Fairfield's record now sits at 5-0. As for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
