Football Recap: Green Hope Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Jack Slone and Ryder Schorzman + How To Watch

Green Hope lost against Panther Creek back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons fell 24-20 to the Catamounts. Despite 215 more yards than the Catamounts, the Falcons couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Ryder Schorzman and Jack Slone certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Schorzman threw for 310 yards and one TD while completing 76.9% of his passes, while Slone picked up 175 receiving yards and one score.

Travis Woodard had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Panther Creek. Woodard's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Green Hope and nudges their season record down to 5-3. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 7-0 Jordan (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 85.7% over those games). As for Panther Creek, their record now sits at 5-2.
