Football Game Preview: Boone Toreadors vs. Lewis Central Titans

The Boone Toreadors will challenge the Lewis Central Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boone's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-7, which was the final score in Boone's tilt against A-D-M on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Toreadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Tigers are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, Lewis Central might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Glenwood who claimed the real prize. The Titans fell just short of the Rams by a score of 41-38. The Titans were up 24 in the first, but they couldn't quite seal the deal.

Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lewis Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
