Willamette barely beat Sheldon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Irish with a sharp 13-3 win on Saturday. That looming 13-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolverines yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Willamette and bumps their season record up to 4-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Sheldon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4-1.

Coming up, Willamette will take on Jesuit at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sheldon, they will face off against South Medford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Irish's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
