Softball Recap: Bradenton Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

There's no place like home for Bradenton Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 victory over Foundation Christian Academy on Thursday. This was a revenge game for Bradenton Christian: when they faced off against Foundation Christian Academy back in March, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Taylor Blundon was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Sofia Puccia was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bradenton Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 4-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

With the win, Bradenton Christian broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

Bradenton Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Lakeside Christian on the 22nd. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-1 win against Sarasota Christian on the 22nd.
