Baseball Game Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars

For the second straight game, Valley will face off against Pinecrest Academy Cadence. The Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley hasn't scored more than a single run for 14 games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Valley came up short against Pinecrest Academy Cadence on Monday, falling 19-1.

For Pinecrest Academy Cadence's part, Ambrose Serna was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. The dominant performance also gave Serna a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
