Volleyball Recap: Whitmer Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

Whitmer hadn't done well against Bowling Green recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past the Bobcats 3-0. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Whitmer's got stronger as the match went on, holding Bowling Green to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-13.

Evie Brown paced Whitmer's offense, picking up nine kills. Brown got some help from Hayden Harmon and her 19 assists. Taylor Brown controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Whitmer has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Bowling Green, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Whitmer will square off against rival Perrysburg at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bowling Green is set to challenge their familiar foe Southview at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
