Hicks came out on top against Westlake on Saturday thanks in part to Courtlyn Dousay's efforts. Dousay turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
