After a string of five wins, Kenyon-Wanamingo's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against the Fillmore Central Falcons, falling 3-0. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Falcons when the teams met back in November of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-10.

Mali Quam paced Kenyon-Wanamingo's offense, picking up seven kills. Quam got some help from Kendal Johnson and her ten assists. Maddyn Alexander controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Kenyon-Wanamingo's loss dropped their record down to 24-5. As for Fillmore Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

Kenyon-Wanamingo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fillmore Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Ada-Borup on the 6th.
