Sheets Memorial Christian played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 74-11 defeat at the hands of the Lee Park Prep Knights . While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 608th, while the Knights are ranked 190th).

Kristin Haut was Sheets Memorial Christian's leading scorer, having posted six points. Lauren Hanner held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Sheets Memorial Christian's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lee Park Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Lee Park Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-39 win against Gospel Light Christian on the 23rd.
