Basketball Recap: Hardaway Takes a Loss

Hardaway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 91-24 loss at the hands of the Carver Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Tigers are ranked 40th).

Sergio Lowe was Hardaway's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Hardaway's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Carver, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hardaway has already played their next contest (against Sumter County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Carver has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Columbus.
