Soccer Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

Illinois Math & Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Serena Huskers. Illinois Math & Science Academy were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Serena earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's record now sits at 6-9-1. As for Serena, their win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-12-3.

Coming up, Illinois Math & Science Academy will take on Westmont at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Serena, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Earlville at 4:30 p.m. on the 17th.
