Soccer Game Preview: Frontier vs. Highland

The Frontier Titans are taking a road trip to face off against the Highland Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, neither Frontier nor Garces Memorial could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Highland made sure to put some goals up on the board against Independence on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 4-0 win. The Scots' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

They hit Independence with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexander Servin, Alejandro Cervantez, Jerson Euceda, and Sergio Sierra.

Highland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6-7 record this season. With that draw, Frontier's record moves to 6-10-6.

Frontier came up short against Highland in their previous matchup back in January, falling 3-1. Can Frontier avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
