Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, Ga.) has game like his father. You may recognize the last name, that's because he's the son of Hall of Famer Julius Erving, better known as "Dr. J."
The 6-foot-5 senior forward is averaging 17.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game this season. You can see flashes of great potential with his elite finishing ability and athleticism in the video.
"I've seen him go from a JV player that had no experience to a starting varsity in 18 months." Holy Innocents Episcopal head coach Adrian Collins told MaxPreps. "That growth and development came out of nowhere. I hear from a ton of people saying he might be the most improved player in Georgia High School basketball."
The younger Erving told MaxPreps he has no D1 offers, but is drawing interest from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia State and Kennesaw State.
