A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hallsville Bobcats take on the Tyler Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday... The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Friday, Hallsville got the win against Nacogdoches by a conclusive 60-40. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Dragons are ranked 664th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything went Tyler's way against Nacogdoches on Tuesday as Tyler made off with a 68-43 win. The Lions pushed the score to 59-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dragons cut but never quite recovered from.

Hallsville has been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 21 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for Tyler, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.
