Volleyball Recap: Citrus Hill Comes Up Short

Citrus Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Apple Valley Sun Devils.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-8, 25-19.

Leading Apple Valley to victory were SALLY BALLAT and BROOKLYNN CARLUCCI. BALLAT had 17 assists and 11 digs, while CARLUCCI had nine digs and four aces. Those 11 digs gave BALLAT a new career-high.

Citrus Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Apple Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Citrus Hill has already played their next match (against Banning), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Apple Valley, they will head out on the road to take on La Sierra at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
