Basketball Recap: Clarkston Comes Up Short

Clarkston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 87-6 loss at the hands of the Marist War Eagles. The Angoras were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-2.

Grace Kasongo was Clarkston's leading scorer, having posted four points.

Clarkston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Marist, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Clarkston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-18 loss against St. Pius X Catholic on the 31st. As for Marist, they will take on Tucker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
