Basketball Recap: Thornridge Comes Up Short

Thornridge lost against Kankakee back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Thornridge Falcons had to suffer through a 77-32 loss at the hands of the Kankakee Kays. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-9.

Thornridge dropped their record down to 5-17 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kankakee, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

Thornridge has already played their next contest (against Bloom), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kankakee will take on Rich Township at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kankakee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Rich Township likes a good challenge.
