Volleyball Recap: Cesar Chavez Comes Up Short

Cesar Chavez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Gilbert Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Champions of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Cesar Chavez's record is now 0-5. As for Gilbert, they moved to 6-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Cesar Chavez will be playing in front of their home fans against Kofa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gilbert, they will challenge Tolleson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
