Basketball Recap: Florence Christian Takes a Loss

Florence Christian lost against Laurence Manning Academy last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Florence Christian Eagles lost 54-31 to the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats.

Despite the loss, Florence Christian still got an impressive performance from Taylor Greene, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 19 points and three steals. That was a full 61.3% of Florence Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Florence Christian now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Laurence Manning Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Florence Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-45 win against Marlboro Academy on the 17th. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 40-37 loss against Calhoun Academy on the 16th.
