Pamlico County won the last time they faced Southside and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hurricanes blew past the Seahawks 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hurricanes.

Pamlico County never let Southside on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-17.

Julia Bain paced Pamlico County's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bain got some help from Dakota Schmidt and her 27 assists. Bain also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hayden Gibbs, each putting up four.

Pamlico County's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Southside, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-13.
