Volleyball Recap: Fort Zumwalt North Comes Up Short

Fort Zumwalt North managed to slip by Fort Zumwalt West the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Jaguars on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Jaguars since March 25, 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-15.

Sam Weinman paced Fort Zumwalt North's offense, picking up 11 kills. Weinman got some help from Sam Roettger and his 15 assists. Braden Wilson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The defeat snapped Fort Zumwalt North's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-16-3 record. As for Fort Zumwalt West, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-12.
