Allentown Central Catholic had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They suffered a rough 10-0 loss at the hands of the Whitehall Zephyrs. Allentown Central Catholic was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Whitehall apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

For Whitehall's part, Ryan Lindenmuth spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just zero earned runs on one hit and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Seth Hoderewski was incredible, going 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Rob Yankowy, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Allentown Central Catholic will look to defend their home field on Monday against Northampton at 4:00 p.m. As for Whitehall, they will head out on the road to square off against Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
