Football Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

Belmont played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the North College Hill Trojans and fell 52-20. The Bison were down 36-6 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Belmont's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for North College Hill, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belmont will square off against Lockland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bison will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North College Hill, they will challenge Summit Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Silver Knights' defense has only allowed 9.7 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
