South Point posted their closest win since March 13th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Kings Mountain Mountaineers 12-11. This was a revenge game for the Red Raiders: when they faced off against the Mountaineers on April 8th, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

South Point moved to 11-8 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Kings Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Point will face off against Ashbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Raiders are facing the Greenwave at the right time seeing as the Greenwave are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kings Mountain, they will challenge Stuart W. Cramer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Storm will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Mountaineers surely won't give up without a fight.
