Basketball Recap: Flour Bluff Beats West Oso for Their Third Straight Win

Flour Bluff extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came out on top against the West Oso Bears by a score of 47-34. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Oso fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

West Oso's loss came despite strong showings from Alivia Shaw and Gina Hinojosa. Shaw posted ten points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Hinojosa scored four points. Shaw is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Coming up, Flour Bluff will take on Savio at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Oso, they will square off against Refugio at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday.
